Renewable raw materials as a component of our packaging

The packaging (including the lid and screw cap) for our 1-litre drinks is made from at least 80 % renewable raw materials (min. 69 % cardboard made from wood fibre and min. 9 % plastic made from sugar cane).

Packagaing

As part of the redesign, the packaging for our Cuisines (200ml) now also contains a higher proportion of plant-based raw materials - this figure now stands at 65 %. This is partly due to the adjusted ratio of paper to plastic, but it also represents a further step towards the increased use of renewable materials.

Multi-layered for maximum freshness and protection

Our packaging consists of multiple layers that are carefully designed to preserve the quality of our products. Our 1L* drinks are made up of at least 69 % cardboard sourced responsibly and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC™). The packaging is also reinforced with thin layers of polyethylene and aluminium. These protect the contents from moisture, oxygen and light, ensuring that flavour, nutrients and freshness are preserved.

Our packaging, our commitment

Our packaging helps to prevent food spoilage and waste by extending shelf life without the need for refrigeration or preservatives.

Our contribution: packaging made from a high proportion of renewable raw materials, which reliably protects our products and partially replaces fossil-based raw materials - for mindful enjoyment in everyday life.
